For three years, I felt like the best kept secret online.

I worked my tail off (I’m a South African 🇿🇦 after all, we know how to hustle! 💪)

I posted on Facebook and YouTube every single week.

I hosted webinars

And still….

hardly anyone knew I existed.

And then I bought a plane ticket to San Diego.

It was a 30-hour trip, it was expensive, and I had no idea whether it would be worth it.

I had to leave my husband alone for 10 days with a toddler and a baby.

I had to leave my toddler and my baby!

I nearly didn’t get on the plane.

But I did.

And when I got there, I sat in a room with people who were already building the kinds of businesses I wanted to build.

They had offers. They had customers. They were making sales.

And they talked about it like it was the most normal thing on the planet.

That changed everything for me.

Surrounding myself with people who were doing it!

I still had to learn a few things, but I never felt invisible or completely alone any more.
